Established by Resolution Number 97-15 in compliance with State Law, which states that a city with a population of 5,000 or more must establish a Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) before imposing a Lodging Tax and submit any proposal to impose a Lodging Tax, increase the tax rate, remove a tax exemption, or change in the use of tax revenues, to the Advisory Committee for review and comment at least 45 days before taking action on the proposal.

2023 LTAC Grant Information

The City of Oak Harbor is accepting Lodging Tax/Tourism Promotion Grant applications for the 2023 grant year beginning September 26, 2022.  Applications are due by email submission only to the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee no later than 4:30 pm on October 12, 2022.  Multi-year and single-year applications are available.  Click on the attachments below.  For more information, please contact  Lodging Tax Advisory Committee.

Grant Application Details

  • The Lodging Tax/Tourism Promotion applications will be accepted between September 26, 2022, and October 12, 2022
  • Completed applications must be emailed to the  Lodging Tax Advisory Committee by 4:30 pm on October 12, 2022.
