Thank you for your interest in supporting the Whidbey Island Marathon. Your time is valuable, and it is very rewarding to know that members of our community are willing to dedicate their time to serve Oak Harbor in this capacity. This event would not be possible without the many volunteers who help support the race each and every year!
The Whidbey Island Marathon is always looking for individuals, groups, clubs, teams, military, etc. to help support the event. If you are in search of community or military service hours, we are happy to provide completion hours for every shift provided. Each volunteer receives a letter of acknowledgment from the Oak Harbor Mayor, along with an event shirt!
Marathon participants always express how much they appreciate and enjoy the enthusiasm and helpfulness of our volunteers. Thank you for going the extra mile!
