There is a program granted to persons who meet the qualifications and requirements of OHMC 3.90.030 and 3.90.040 for relief from the city's water, sewer, and solid waste service charges. After review of the application and Finance Director approval, a 17% rate reduction would be applied to the water, sewer, and 20-gallon trash cart charges.
Requirements
- Applicant must supply a copy of the most recently filed Income Tax Return and proof of income supporting the stated income.
- Changes in the applicant's financial circumstances must be reported to the Finance Department to maintain eligibility.
- Applicant must renew the low-income discount eligibility annually. Failure to apply for renewal under the low-income discount program will result in regular charges to the utility account.
