The Public Works Department will remove wayfinding signs around the City on Thursday, June 8, and Friday, June 9. The signs are being taken to a sign shop for updating and then will be put back up in approximately six to eight weeks.
This project was funded through the City’s Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) grants. The signs were installed in 2008 and had a ten-year life span for the design images/text. We exceeded the time to refresh them due to COVID. City staff is excited to get the signs back with a refreshed look.
