Gifts of Connection

Gifts of Connection for Seniors

The 2022 Gifts of Connection for Seniors program was a great success. With the help of our community members and partner organizations gifts were provided to 130 older adults on North Whidbey.  The program will run again in 2023 with the application for participation for eligible seniors available in October and the Wishlist for donations available in November.

The North Whidbey Coalition on Vital Aging wants to acknowledge older adults who would like to be remembered during this holiday season.

Older adults in need on North Whidbey are invited to list three items they would like to receive this holiday season. The list is available for community members to select from, purchase, and return to The Center for delivery to the individuals requesting. This year of continuing isolation has been extremely difficult on our older adult community members. This is an opportunity to remind them that we are aware of and care for them.

Are you over 60, living on North Whidbey, and in need of gifts this holiday season?

The only eligibility requirements to participate are that you must reside north of Libbey road on Whidbey Island and be 60 years of age or older by December 31, 2023. We would particularly like to serve those who are low income or socially isolated.
