AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides in-person tax assistance at The Center in Oak Harbor to anyone, free of charge, with a focus on taxpayers who are over 50 and have low to moderate income. Tax-Aide volunteers are trained and IRS-certified every year to make sure they know about and understand the latest changes and additions to the tax code.
Tax Appointments at The Center in Oak Harbor will be on Wednesdays and are now available to book.
PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING
You must have your AARP tax booklet filled out before your appointment. You can get one from The Center in Oak Harbor, they will be located in a black file holder outside next to the main front doors.
When you arrive for your appointment please enter and follow AARP signage.
Please do not come to the building until your designated appointment time.
You will meet with the AARP tax preparer to submit your documents and answer intake questions and stay with them until your return is completed. This whole process will take about 1-2 hours.
