Active Transportation Plan
The City of Oak Harbor is developing an Active Transportation Plan (ATP) to identify projects and strategies to improve conditions for walking, biking, and rolling throughout the City.

Comprehensive Safety Action Plan (CSAP)
The Comprehensive Safety Action Plan (CSAP) is aimed at reducing and eliminating serious injury and fatal crashes affecting all roadway users by using data analysis to determine roadway safety problems and strengthen a community’s approach through projects and strategies that address the most significant safety risks.

Marina Dredging
The City is in the process of planning a feasibility study for an upcoming dredging project. Staff is working with Moffat & Nichol and BST & Associates to develop a plan for dredging, minor reconfiguration, costs, and funding options.

Northeast 7th Avenue Reconstruction
This federally funded project will improve pedestrian, bicycle, and transit access, reconstruct the road, improve drainage, and provide illumination. The project will occur on Northeast 7th Avenue between North Oak Harbor Street and State Route 20 (SR 20).

Transportation Benefit District - Proposition 1 Sales Tax Increase
The City of Oak Harbor's TBD Number 1 imposes a sales and use tax of two-tenths of one percent (0.2%) pursuant to RCW 36.73.040(3)(a), Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 36.73.065 and RCW 82.14.0455. The purpose of the tax is to supply funding for the TBD Projects.

The Redevelopment of the Oak Harbor Downtown Waterfront is Now Underway, encompassing more than 600-acres. The Area is Being Transformed into a Mixed-Use Space with Projected Green Space, Public Art and Community Recreation.
