Biography
A resident of Oak Harbor since 2018. She moved to Oak Harbor after retiring from her 30 year nursing career. She started to get involved in local government politics by working as a Precinct Committee Officer. This led to her attending City Council and City Park Board meetings to address the needs of concerned community members in her precinct. Barbara wants to be a liaison between members of the Council and City of Oak Harbor residents.
She is a licensed Vocational Nurse and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services from Western Washington University. Additionally, Barbara served for two years managing the District 10 Legislative Office.
