What happens after a job closes?

Once a job posting has closed, the job announcement will be removed from the website but you will be able to log in to view your status through your applicant portal. We will contact applicants as we proceed through the process. If you have not received a phone call, e-mail, or letter, then the process is still in the review stage. Due to the large volume of applications the City receives, the review process may take longer than usual. Every effort is made to notify applicants selected for an interview as early as possible. 

Human Resources, department designee and/or panel will review all applications for the position after the closing date. Each application is considered.
