Eastbound and westbound SR 20 daytime lane reductions begin Thursday, Jan. 29, near Anacortes

ANACORTES - People traveling on State Route 20 near Anacortes should expect multiple lane reductions along both directions this week.

Crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will install signs, concentrating on westbound SR 20 Thursday, Jan. 29, and eastbound Friday, Jan. 30.

Travelers should expect left lane closures:

• 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, along different sections of westbound SR 20 between Best Road (milepost 54) and Reservation Road (milepost 48).
• 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, along different sections of eastbound SR 20 between Thompson Road (milepost 48) and Whitney Road (milepost 53).

People traveling in the area should expect delays.
