OAK HARBOR, WA—The City of Oak Harbor is now accepting applications for 2025 tourism grants. The City is seeking organizations and public agencies that promote tourism and enhance Oak Harbor's economic activity.
The grants are funded by lodging tax revenues generated by a tax imposed on overnight stays within the city. Revenues are dedicated to funding tourism-related events and marketing activities, as the goal of the Lodging Tax Grant is to attract overnight visitors to Oak Harbor and patronize local businesses such as hotels, restaurants, shops, and other services.
Applications will be accepted through 4:30pm on Friday, October 4.
Please note that an online application form is NEW this year. The fillable PDF is still available. Organizations can submit applications through the website using the online form or send the PDF version to ltac@oakharbor.org.
Presentations to the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) are scheduled for Wednesday, October 9 at 2:00pm. Organizations will have 5 minutes to present their project/activity to the Committee.
